No need to search for answers as to who is behind this tech oriented blog - it is me. I am sort of known by a very few people as Ed, the Pisstaker, and til now I was only recognisable by my cartoon persona, a large faced gent with a shit-eating grin. But now there is a real face to puke at. Well, half a real face, the rest is pure Elvis latex.

What can I say, I am a product of my own time spent working, living and eating in Europe, US, Africa and Asia. After observing the good, the bad and the indifferent, at age 40-something, I am now a confirmed cynical git who especially hates gadgets and "things" and the speed of change. Unfortunately, I cannot resist taking to my hi tech computer and researching the very things I should be avoiding.

- If you are seeking a light hearted opinion that usually revolves around "It is a bloody con, hardly anyone can be trusted to do the right thing these days, who gives a toss what they say, it is all lies." then I am your kind of guy.

But rather than ramble on pointlessly about anything and everything (it is pointless, right!) I am going to focus my attention here on search and tech trivia stuff.

Mrs Ed is my biggest critic, but I hope that before ripping into me, you at least read what I write!
